Some weddings are a little different, and this was one of those special occasions. Although Janine and Derek had another photographer for their wedding day, I was incredibly grateful to spend time with them the day before the ceremony for a relaxed pre-wedding portrait session at beautiful Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada, Florida.
These sessions are some of my favorites because there’s no rush, no timeline to follow, and couples have the opportunity to simply enjoy being together before the excitement of the wedding day. Janine and Derek were an absolute joy to photograph, and it was such an honor to capture this chapter of their story.
